Gosh , we were out today. Building a few raised beds and prepping a platform for a greenhouse. And I found 2 roses that at first glance looked like the wind had broken the bush. But on a closer exam, I have a gopher! He ate the roots!
Several traps out. Hoping to rid the yard of this critter.

I am looking at my garden as the sun begins to rise. It is cold, but not as cold as it has been. For me any thing above freezing is normal. :)
There are mourning doves around and under some of the bushes, they are puffed up as if this will provide some extra warmth.
We measured more area yesterday for my new raised beds! It was 43 degrees crisp with bright sunshine. I think the final decision is 6- 4' x 8' beds for my roses and 1 6'x12' for my veggies
I plan on moving some my roses from the back berm area that are not thriving as I would like. I feel this is due to them being to near a large tree. Therefore not enough of this wonderful warm Idaho Sun. So I feel they will perform so much more prolific out in the open.

Still so much to be done. The berm weed barrier has large areas that have have breached and torn in blowing wind. All because the mulch and fallen down the hill! Darn, should have done that much deeper.

All this grass that needs to be removed for the raised beds is going to be such a HUGE job! I can not wait to see this all completed and the roses re planted and happy.

And then I have new roses coming for spring that need a spot! I am hoping in the raised beds.

We need to build the greenhouse and put it on a platform so it is level.
And then I need to decide when to start my seeds.
Wow so much work.........
